I have been on sick leave for about a month and looking forward to getting back to creating some wonderful new pieces for 2010.  I have ordered in some gorgeous rare green Kyanite, some lovely cherry quartz and my favorite some colorful Tourmaline Rondelle.  So Keep checking back for new pictures of new designs.

With recent trip up island to Ucluelet and Tofino, BC, I am happy to say my jewelry was welcomed into the high tourist traffic market of Tofino.  One store accepted 15 pieces, and three others will be requesting pieces once the tourist season picks up in May/June.  I have also put in some orders for gorgeous glass work, stone pendants and silver. 

While I was in Ucluelet I when beach combing and picked up a lot of beach glass in a variety of colors which I will use in future designs.

Christmas Craft Season has officially started for me. Hoping the crowds will be good this year as I will have a table at the local mall.  I have a mixture of Jewelry and this is the last Christmas for my Christmas earrings.  I have had several requests to do chain link necklaces and so I have decided to teach myself different techniques.

It has been a busy 2011, I have been updating my skills and finding new and unique stones to include into my pieces.  I have also started learning how to design and set Cabachons to silver.  It was a slower Christmas Season, doing only one market and I am finding it harder to complete pieces as fast as I use to.  Hoping an upcoming trip will get the creative juices flowing again.

Mystic Island has Joined the world of Facebook! Still Learning how to set up the account but now able to share new deigns with my friends faster then ever. I have been busy taking photos of all my Jewelry to share with all of you.

Went to Vegas for my Birthday and got to see a lot of new and interesting Jewelry designs.  I also brought back a lot of beautiful turquoise beads.  Turquoise is still a favorite stone and people enjoy the softness of its color.  I also learned about Fimo creations, something I will have to explore a bit more.  The big question is, is it going too far away from the natural energy that I want from each piece of material I use?  Earth = Stones; Water = Glass; Fire = Metal; Air = Tigerwire (Connection)

Every Sunday I go to the Cedar Flea Market to find Jewelry parts.  I have asked a lady friend who has a table most every Sunday if she would mind selling my jewelry and she has accepted.  So If you need Avon and or jewelry come to the Sunday Cedar Flea Market. 

Joined Nanaimo Artwalks for their first summer Artwalk.  It was a two day event and had several people come just to see me and my work.  I quite enjoyed getting to know the public who were interested in my designs and I even had the opportunity to teach the meaning of certain precious stones.

This year has flown by very fast.  Cannot believe it is fall already and time to bring out the bold greens and reds.  I have also decided to try Fimo beads and for the first time I will be showcasing this new item in my Christmas craft fairs, hopefully it is a hit with the crowds.

I have been stocking up on a lot of wonderful beads over the summer so I will have plenty of interesting and unique jewelry for everyone this Christmas Craft Season, which so happens to start November 8. Hope to see you all there.

New Product has arrived and I am itching to use it.  I have been finding a lot of cool items to make jewelry with.  So Excited!!!

Another fast year, I have lost my spot at the Nanaimo Museum and Artzi stuff is Moving to location a bigger and a more promising store.  I have opened my Etsy store and will be selling by years end world wide.  I have been told time and time again my work is to beautiful to be locked up and must be shared with the world.  So hopefully someone will find a piece to give a new home and love it as much as I have......

It has been one month since my Jewelry has been open to the world wide web for sale.  It has been slow, no sales yet but with facebook on my side it will happen.  I am also jumping into Christmas Craft sale season soon and hoping it is a busy one.  But first, I must stock up and I am off to Las Vegas, hopefully I will be able to pick up some awesome stones that my customers will appreciate.
